Get Going

Get Going Well-being is a brand new programme to help improve the emotional well-being for children and young people in North Lincolnshire. The programme is focussed on each young person, taking into account each individual’s needs, interests and difficulties; from this, a personalised, tailored action plan is created to help the young person make small, gradual and targeted changes.

The one to one visits aim to get young people more resilient by building confidence, self-esteem and empowering each individual to discover their strengths; this will also help encourage them to access positive opportunities available outside of the programme structure. Our Get Going team will provide a mentor and role model for each young person to support them throughout the whole programme and offer post programme support and guidance.

Who is it for?

Get Going Well-being works with children aged between 4-16 years old through a range of support methods including one to one sessions; targeted small group activities; universal group activities, options for residential trips and a joined up approach with other agencies working with the child to ensure they are at the centre of the service.
