WHAT IS PHYSICAL WELLBEING?

This programme focuses on developing and improving confidence, communication & team building skills.
The sessions aim to be motivational for young people, increasing their confidence through active participation and improve wellbeing.

WHO’S IT FOR?
​
The programme is aimed at children and young people aged 4-16 years who have been identified with needs around wellbeing. Sessions are for targeted groups and last 45-60 minutes.
​
WHAT WILL THE OUTCOMES BE?
​
Physical wellbeing sessions will motivate young people to lead a healthier lifestyle and build resilience with support. The programme will be delivered by the Get Ahead team who will work with children on a 1:1 basis or in group session.

WHAT WILL THE SCHOOL NEED TO DO?

Each programme is tailored to the individual school's requirements and adapted to meet the needs of the children and young people participating.

Identify a group of children who would benefit from the programme.

Identify a suitable and convenient allocated time and day for the sessions to take place.
