Year 2/3 Project Ability - Brumby Cluster

On 2nd March we ran a project ability festival which was aimed at engaging students in physical activities. Some pupils find P.E. A struggle for various reasons. This festival was about inspiring those students to feel part of an activity and encouraging them to realise that there are activities for everyone. Each school hand picked a group of pupils to come and have a go at a differentiated circuit of stations which included fun ways of challenging pupils in their speed, accuracy, power and agility. They all appeared to be having a lot of fun and were inspired by the chance to win a station medal. All pupils were given the opportunity to have the full experience of all the stations so that individual pupils from each school could be selected for their achievements . All pupils were rewarded in some way and left feeling happy with what they had achieved. Thank to all the staff and students that came, as well as the leaders from the Academy, who led and controlled all the stations. You were an asset to the Academy!
